What I do
To put it simply – my camera is my companion. I like to get involved in all aspects of photography. I love scenery, wildlife, people and life. All wonderful aspects to capture. The celebration of life and its defining moments make for wonderful candid, artistic images.
Previously known as Secret Business Images, I have been shooting professionally since 2011. My experience extends beyond these years though. I am self taught with an eye for detail. I’m a very creative person and have enjoyed taking private photography courses over the years to expand my professional photographic knowledge.
Professional photographic services offered are many: Weddings, Maternity, New Born, Families, Products, Real Estate & Special Events to name a few.
How I do it
It’s imperative for my clients to feel comfortable and relaxed, as this helps with capturing the ‘decisive’ moment. A long history of working with people and large groups [previous Event Manager, Wedding Co-Ordinator positions] have given me valuable experience and respect, that enables me to ensure my clients comfort and happiness. As a mother of three balls of energy [boys], I can also say that I’m experienced in working with children in front of the lens!
Although I do prefer location shoots, I offer the use of my studio too. My equipment is varied. A Canon 5D MarkIV is my preferred body with numerous high quality lenses, studio lighting & flash photography options as well. Location shooting & natural lighting all lend to much more creative images. I can recommend an array of natural backdrops – South East Queensland has some stunning beaches, gardens and parks!
Where I live
I’m a professional photographer based on the northern end of the Gold Coast. Only 15 minutes from the heart of the Gold Coast, and 45 minutes from Brisbane. Both locations are easily accessible for photoshoots.
I have traveled as far south as Geelong for a beautiful wedding. I can travel as far north as The Town of Seventeen Seventy, located on the East Coast of Central Queensland – 7 hours from the Gold Coast. We holiday at Seventeen Seventy on a regular basis and it is adorned with some stunning private beaches and bays.
